About This Location

The Light Program’s Exton location serves Chester County with outpatient mental health programs. We are located on John Young Way, about halfway between Exton and Downingtown, and our office is just off of Rt. 30 for easy access from surrounding towns. Our therapists accept most commercial insurance providers, as well as self-pay clients.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) in Exton, PA

If you’re looking for a more structured program than weekly counseling sessions with a therapist, intensive outpatient therapy might be a good fit for you. This is a type of group therapy that runs for four days each week. Teens can also benefit from IOP, and it gives them a chance to build a peer support network.

Women's Trauma IOP

This group will benefit adult females who may be experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD or a history of trauma and/or abuse.

Partial Hospitalization for Teens

Our PHP program for adolescents is designed for clients aged 14-18 with a primary mental health diagnosis. This may include generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, bipolar, OCD or PTSD. A variety of therapies are utilized to address primary mental health symptoms, as well as a secondary substance use diagnosis. PHP works well for teens with a strong support system who have difficulty managing their symptoms.
